Installed Americas Army, which somehow corrupted my windows install and bootsector, don't bother trying to figure that out.

Windows was blue screening me on startup.

Without ever having used it before, I managed to fix both my filesystem and bootsector using the recovery console.

Take it windows, because I'm a freaking beast.

Hey man, I just saved myself from reloading nearly 20 hours of music, all my programs, and replacing CS programs that have taken weeks to write. :)

fixboot, fixmbr, and chkdisk/r is all you usually need to fix winders from recovery console.

It's also a free and relatively good FPS. I can deal with propoganda. :)

ive tried the recovery console a few times with no luck. could be that i had no clue what i was doing, but more likely that i screwed something up so bad, it was not fixable :)

W/ windows the boot sector goes bad a lot, and I was able to fix it with that. I didn't know what I was doing either, but I have enough vague memories of DOS that I was able to work with the UI, and using the help command enough got me where I needed to be.
