New Ranks Added [Archive]

I went with a couple peoples suggestions and added new ranks for all of you. most of them are just humorous little things that happen at specific numbers. for instance, at 69, you get "69 Man", but only until you hit 70 posts.

this brings me to another point though. i still need some ranks for actual post levels, such as
10
25
50
100, etc

any suggestions are welcome. i know everyone would like to see some new ranks, but i've yet to recieve alot of feedback on it.

p.s. i did also add "Big Fat Looser" for all the people with 0 posts. let's all laugh at their retardedness for taking time to register but never posting (especially since you can read the forums without registering)

only suggestion i have is make the ranks shorter. IMO the title shouldnt be any wider than the avatar, and the avatar shouldt be over 100 X 100 pixels, it just looks better when its all uniform rather than everyone being diff sizes.

Something else you might consider is the custom rank hack you can get at phpbbhacks.com, it would let ppl set their own title after meeting a set criteria like being a member X number of days AND having X number of posts.

good suggestions. updated the ranks again. i have ranks now for everything up to 10,000 posts, though there isn't any changes from 5,000 to 10,000. i might consider the phpbbhacks thing to let people set their own, but it would be after something like 2,000 posts. can't make it too small ;-)

One of the forums I visit uses it, and has it set to where you have to be an active member for 6 months and falls into a preset level of activity. that way the regulars get to do it, and not just the contest spammers that show up for a contest then leave
