Yesterday I discoverd that my case was connected to the ground [smilie=5shocking.gif] is this normal, or very very bad??

nah, couldn't hurt anything...though normally only the power supply is grounded.

it's actually perfectly normal for your case to be grounded. this is the reason that most of your components have metal containers/brackets.
take a PCI card for instance... the main function of the backplate is grounding, which is why even acrylic cases still have to have some function to ground the PCI backplates.
ok thnx, for the acrylic cases just attach a ground wire on the screw of the PCI backplate and the wire on your PSU, but the PCI-slot also have GND so grounding the backplate looks to me unnessesairy

I would want it grounded if it where mine, in most cases electronics will perform better with the chassis grounded.
Also, (1) it will help protect your electronics from home generated static charges and
(2) better protection from voltage spikes, and lightning running in.

Im looking for a way to ground my case window, all that static is attracting dust like a magnet
