Since the 6600GT AGP is finally out, the x700 AGP is still just a dream, and the 9800Pro is still around 200 bucks, this is definitely a fair comparison for someone about to buy a new AGP card.
You may or may not like the [H] format for video card reviews, without 3dMark scores, etc, but it is still a decent review.
