I just recieved a replacement Chaintech FX 5900XT , and i was planning on overclocking it .

How far can a GFX cards temps be pushed ? Also how far can the Voltage be pushed ?

My Cards Temps are :-

GPU Core Temp @ 32°C
Ambient Temp @ 24°C

And it says that the Core Slowdown Threshold is 140°C That seems very high ?

They're all different, but I would say 425/450 would be a good place to start your overclock.

My default clocks are:

GPU: 400
Mem: 700

I run mine 24/7 at:

GPU: 500 (about 490 was stable on the OEM cooler.)
Mem: 900 (don't even have ram sinks)

Adjusting the "AGP Voltage" in your bios is pretty pointless.

I've hit up to 92° C during some testing without my machine locking up, 140° C is where the GPU will throttle itself back in clock speed to prevent physical damage.

I recommend Rivatuner for overclocking and background temperature monitoring.
