i oc'd mine 235*10 and it was stable on stock voltage. i dont have to worry about anything right? i used everest and i got 37*C load i think. Everest accurate? cause MBM doesn't support DFI Lanpart nf3

No way to tell if that's accurate based on the info you've provided.. you would need to try a few different monitors and check the temps in your bios as well to compare..

Everest is just displaying what you're bios is reading. Is it correct? Maybe maybe not. Most MoBo bois are fairly close, but some are way out. 37C would be a fair idle temp for most A64's running stock voltage.

i use thermaltake venus 12 at about 3000rpm. on my bios, its always around 45*C - 49*C and my everest idle is about 33*C and highest i got 37*C

That may be off some..

Mine is typically..

Bios: ~39 C

Idle in windows: 33 C

Load in windows: 49 C

I'm water cooled and ym idle is around 27-29c and load at normal OC is at 36c. Max OC temp is 44c at 265x10 stable.

I dont know about other brands, I do know that abit mobo bios reading are not idle temps, they use some of the cpu resources in the bios.

I use Hardware Sensor Monitor: http://www.hmonitor.com/

I know its within a few degrees since my hd cooler has an termal sensor and it reads about 1c above what hmonitor does.

i dunno which one to base my temp. the low or the high one...
i wanna run my cpu at 235*10 but first i wanna make sure what temp is right

That would be a wise idea

Even though many newer mobo's have a over temp shut-down, its still not something I would want to gamble on if your unsure of it's accuracy.

lol good news =]
i just updated my bios and i get 34*C idle with the program my mobo came with. it used to be around 45*C and up. i guess updating the bios did the trick, now, its almost the same as everest ;D
