got rid of the aging 95 saturn coupe and picked up an '01 chevy malibu

much nicer and a lot more space than the previous ride. also went ahead and upgraded to a real nice cd / mp3 head unit and had the satellite radio from the saturn installed as well. almost looks like a maxima from an angle. we have a few small upgrades in mind; aftermarket speakers all around, maybe a small sub in the trunk (but i doubt it), tinted windows and a new set of tires. :)

Gotta say, I like the car. Should be a lot more comfortable to ride in, too.

got some 13% tint on the windows yesterday, along with keyless entry with trunk opener.
to go along with the cd head unit w/ mp3 playback and the sirius satellite radio, installed a single sony xplod 10" 1100 watt sub with 600 watt amp. it hits REALLY HARD for only one sub.
ill try to get updated pics tomm.
BTW, had our first "ricer kill" today.... older model eclipse with pipe was behind us. i told kim not to let him pass. sure enough, he nailed it, made it to just around the back door, then she hit it and walked him hard. he tried a few more times, same result. and to make it that much worse, we had 4 ppl in the car! classic!

1. The XPlods are actually really nice speakers, I'm pushing 2 12"ers with a 1200 watt Rockford Fosgate amp.
2. Please oh please don't rice out a malibu. I saw one earlier this week with a huge aluminum spoiler and street glo window stickers. Remember that you drive a malibu.
3. Nice car. :)

haha, the last thing i would do is rice out ANY car. i dont really consider tinted windows being ricey, though.
only thing that might change in the near future is a new set of tires :)

Someone say rice? I have my own version of "minute rice", it involves photoshop and a picture of Shawn's car:

Bah, I spent a half hour virtually repainting his car to show you up, and poof, forgot to save.

Also some phat ass graphics & a neon glow coming from the bottom too...Lol
BTW: an animated Gif that shows off the spinners would be nice

The back wheel is always tricky... hehe
aaahhh the joys of photochop
I'd mess with it to, if it involves resizing a picture. After that, photoshop is a mystery to me

We'll just say he recently got in a wreck... involving a car hitting his back tire, which in protest expanded, pushed through the wheel well, and turned on a slight angle. :)
