Default physical dimensions

Hey, can you tell me how far from the card the fans project? i use the 680i mobo and my case doesnt rele have a lot of space below the second card, and there is no point in buying a custom cooler for one and not the other.

Some pics there that might help you out, it looks really tall, I especially those fans I don't know how I feel about them... but performance is snazzy 8)

dang that looks even worse than i thought (space wise), that'll take up another extra slot (byebye pci8 fan controller), and not only that but the fan for the bottom one would be pushed up right against the bottom of the case.... I wonder if i have any tools that can cut through computer casing lol rotfl..... thinking about it i should be able to drill holes.... i'll look at it when i get back and have sorted out my thermalright 120 cpu cooler, ps anyone got a particular reccomendation for the 92mm fan for these cards or a 120mm one for my processor cooler? I use an xilense red wing fan quiet fan atm cos i found it lying around, but i think i need to find another one or 2 better ones (ps i have air being blown into the case where the fan sucks it in for my processor and air being sucked out next to where the 120 blows it out and i still get crappy temps cos of the fan (50C loadless 2.66quad oced to 3.2)

I'm particular to the Noctua fans for your hs/f, check them out. A little expensive but worth it, I'd say.

As far as drilling in the case goes, rotary tools ("dremels") are popular for cutting through cases, with different attachments you can sand it off pretty nicely.
