Good review there Play.

Even thought you gave this power supply the "OCIA approval" and it might actually be a good power supply, But due to there [smilie=5censored.gif] [smilie=pottytrain5.gif] Customer service I will not (and will recommend not) buying anything from Ultra Products. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen!

really avalanche? in my experience they have been pretty good with exception of returns. I always get an email within 12 hrs, usually same hour, when I ask them a question

the only thing i don't like is how you have to have all sorts of stuff to be able to return anything, like receipts invoices etc.

I am currently still fighting with them trying to get my X-Connect RMA'd. Been a couple of months now. (Funny part is when I bought my X-Connect it came with the life time warranty but now they only have a 3 year warranty). I am still under the 3 year time period. I can say that I do get an email response with in 24 hours. It is just BS for a any company to have anyone go through so many hoops go get there product fixed or replaced. They should put on there products "30 day warranty unless you have all paperwork and all your I's dotted then you might get a 3 year warranty".

It is sad. On other forums (maybe this one too) I would defend Ultra Products but now is another story.

I for one believe customer service is part of the product and if it takes so much to get a product replaced that you just give up and buy a new product (in this case PSU) then it is a bad product period. (Which I think might be in there policy "Rule 1 Tired the customer until they give up!")

Hell I think I will start recommend APEVIA over Ultra PSU's.
