Default Apple iPhone WiFi Chill Fix Article

Title: Apple iPhone WiFi Chill Fix Article

Date: 06-18-2009

Quote:
A few weeks ago I noticed that the WiFi connection on my iPhone started acting up, randomly disconnecting and such. I suspected my Belkin router as the culprit, but after testing the phone on other wireless connections as well as having my laptop work perfectly on the Belkin, I knew it must be something else.

Post Iphone 3g OS 3 with the same problem, WIFI WON'T CONNECT!

You are not alone in this world! We have the same problem too!

I'm very very mad about it, cause I'm in Brazil, there is no apple store here and there is no fix for it. I mean, if I put the iphone for 5 or 10 minutes in the freezer and it worked. I don't know what to do anymore. I read in an article ( http://techgripe.net/2008/02/23/ipho...d-out-no-wifi/ ) and they said that is a temperature issue due to the battery. I have another iphone at home and I will open it and swap the batteries to see if I can have success with it, I will let you guys know.

DOES ANYBODY KNOWS WHERE IS THE WIFI CHIP ON THE IPHONE? Would be nice if somebody could give me a picture were the wifi chip is located on the motherboard.

Thanks

Default it works!

I put it on a cooling battery from my fridge, rebooted, it works like a charm! What the hell is the wifi chip in there to build in some cooling!
